FALL/WINTER 2011 The Firm is honored to have Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano cut the ribbon for the new office space on the seventh floor. SPRING/SUMMER 2011 Michael Sahn attends The Burton Awards for Legal Achievement in Washington, D.C., along with distinguished guests Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Sotomayor. We welcome our newest associates Adam Koblenz and Andrew Roth to the Firm. Articles examine new developments in the law regarding the completion of vested building projects in New York City and the imposition of “Recreation Fees” as a condition to site plan approval for residential development. Miriam Villani is honored by Long Island Business News as one of the most influential women on Long Island, and Daniel Braff is featured in Up Close and Personal.
FALL 2010 We are honored that Chris Coschignano has become a member of our Firm, which has been renamed in recognition of his many accomplishments. We also welcome our newest associate John C. Farrell and Daniel Braff, who has joined the Firm as Counsel. Articles examine developments in non-conforming uses and an update on recent case law regarding the state's power of eminent domain.
WINTER/SPRING 2010 We are proud to report that former Nassau County Supreme Court Justice Hon. Edward G. McCabe has joined the Firm as Special Counsel. Two articles: the continuing legal controversy regarding the use of eminent domain in large scale development projects, and a discussion of a recent decision of the Court of Appeals that revisits the issue of the right to commence a legal action in SEQRA litigation.
