Elaine M. Colavito is an associate with the Firm who concentrates her practice in matrimonial and family law, civil litigation and immigration matters. She was previously associated with a civil litigation law firm on Long Island.
Ms. Colavito is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York County Bar Association. She currently writes a monthly column for The Suffolk Lawyer, a publication of the Suffolk County Bar Association, entitled "Decisions of Interest." Ms. Colavito is also the author of an article entitled “Social Networking Sites and the Right to Privacy: Kathleen Romano v. Steelcase and Educational Institutional Cooperative Services, Inc., Index No.: 2233/06,” Medicine and Law Committee Newsletter, Winter 2011, a publication of the American Bar Association.
Ms. Colavito graduated from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center (J.D., magna cum laude, 2007) and holds an undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook (B.A., summa cum laude, 2003).
